About Bing
Being an orphan at the age of 16, Bing Abrian Resurreccion came face to face with grief early on in life. With the blessing of the Lord, she was able to finish her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with honors at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. She used to work as a Sales Trainer, Group Sales Manager, Guidance Assistant, Personnel in-charge and a Preschool Teacher/ Therapist. Later, she chose to be a Group Fitness Instructor while homeschooling her son Jireh and her daughter Naomi, who are now grown-ups.
Bing is joyfully married to Mon Resurreccion, her loving husband of 25 blissful years. Both of them served the ministry as Discipleship Group (Dgroup) Leaders for couples, and they were the former ministry heads of CCF Taytay’s Couples Ministry, Family Ministry, and were members of the Council of Servants. Just a few years ago, Mon took a higher calling of becoming the OIC (Part-time Pastor) of CCF Angono. While being a suitable helper to her husband Mon, Bing continues to be a part of the Women to Women’s Ministry. She loves to be around people and she is fondly called by her family as the “International Buddy,” because many are drawn to her wit, congeniality and authenticity.
Her inspiration is her closely-knit family. Togetherness is their source of happiness. They love to travel to create good memories and they love to do things together, be it grand or menial. Theirs is a picture of a simple family with simple joys. Until on August 2, 2020, their whole world was turned upside down when Mon suddenly passed away in an accident. Stricken with grief and deep sorrow, Bing and her children cling on to the LORD for strength and comfort. It was then that Bing was led to a Support Group called Grief Share, where she learned how to embrace grief in the company of people who are suffering the loss of their loved ones.
Treading this new journey set before her, Bing was inspired to share her grief journey through her writings which inspired many. Finally, with much prayer, she decided to launch “Coping with Bing,” a Blog that will share not only her experiences and learnings in coping with grief, but also welcomes stories of journeys, victories and healing of other people who have walked the same path. It is her desire to bring comfort, inspiration and hope to those who were left behind.
